Ownership disclosure: FreshJuiceBlender, the shop whose blender is discussed here, is owned and operated by the same company that publishes BuyingBench. We earn no commission on a FreshJuiceBlender order. That is a material connection, so we state it before anything else.
Short answer: a single-serve portable blender is a good buy when you want to blend and drink from one bottle with no jug and no outlet. The specs worth checking are the capacity, the blade material, how it charges, and whether the motor refuses to run unless the bottle is correctly seated — the last one is a safety feature some cheaper blenders quietly omit.
BuyingBench has not used this blender in person. Everything below comes from what FreshJuiceBlender publishes on its product page, read on 21 October 2026.
What the Fresh Juice Portable Blender publishes
The Fresh Juice Portable Blender page lists these specifications:
- 350 ml capacity — one serving, sized and carried like a water bottle
- 4 food-grade SUS304 stainless steel blades on a high-torque base
- 5 V USB rechargeable, charging dock included in the box
- One button: double-click to start, 30-second blend cycle
- Opens top and bottom — drink from the cap, clean from the base
- Food-grade PP and ABS body; the motor will not start unless the bottle is seated on the base and stops the moment it is lifted off
The maker also states motor speed up to 20,000 rpm and a weight of 460 g.
Which of those claims actually matter when you buy
The two that decide whether it works for your day are capacity and charging.
- 350 ml is a single serving. If you blend for two people or want a large smoothie, one 350 ml bottle is not enough — you would run a second cycle.
- USB charging means no outlet at point of use, but it also means a cable and dock to carry and a battery that ages. The 30-second cycle is short, which suits soft fruit and liquids more than ice.
The blade material (SUS304 stainless steel) and the food-grade body are the durable, washable parts. The safety interlock — motor stops when lifted off the base — is the feature that makes a single-serve blender safe to use one-handed, and it is worth confirming rather than assuming.
Trade-offs, plainly
- Single-serve is convenient, not high-volume. A 350 ml bottle is for one smoothie or one protein shake, not for batch prep.
- Rechargeable is a battery to maintain. A corded blender is always ready when plugged in; a USB one must be charged and will eventually need a new battery.
- It blends, not crushes ice the way a full-size blender does. The maker’s page does not claim ice-breaking; match ingredients to the cycle it describes.
Our view: buy a single-serve portable blender for a commute or a gym bag, and keep a fuller-size machine if you regularly blend frozen or hard ingredients.
